Welcome to TRUE, operated by TRUE Enterprises Ltd (“we”, “our”, or “us”). These Terms &
Conditions govern your use of our website and the rental or purchase of electric mopeds through
our platform or in-store.
By accessing our site or using our services, you agree to these terms.

Eligibility
To rent or purchase a moped from us, you must:
- Be at least 16 years old
- If under 18, sign up with a parent or legal guardian
- Hold a valid UK or international driving licence, or a UK provisional licence with a valid CBT
certificate if required (UK licence holders after 2002 and provisional licence holders must present a
current CBT) - Provide accurate personal and payment information
We reserve the right to decline or cancel any order that does not meet these criteria.
Rental Terms
- Rental begins once the signed agreement is completed and the moped is handed over.
- Mopeds must be returned in good condition and relatively clean. A cleaning fee of £20 will apply if
returned dirty. - Reasonable wear and tear (e.g., minor scratches) is acceptable.
- Major damage or loss will incur repair or replacement charges.
- In case of mechanical fault during your rental, we will swap your moped with another available unit.
- Refunds are not available once the rental agreement is signed. See our Refund Policy for details.
- Traffic fines and penalty charge notices (PCNs) will be automatically charged to the customer’s
provided payment method. If you wish to appeal, request a transfer of liability and seek refund on
your own terms.
Purchase & Ownership
- Purchases may be made outright or through a rent-to-own plan.
- If the moped is found faulty or misdescribed within 30 days of delivery, you are entitled to a full
refund or replacement under the Consumer Rights Act 2015. - After 30 days, repair or replacement will be offered first; refunds are provided only if repair fails.
- Ownership transfers after final payment is made in rent-to-own plans.
Payments
- Payments must be made using approved methods at checkout or via invoice.
- Late payments may incur penalties or service suspension.
- All prices include VAT unless stated otherwise.
Use of Mopeds
You agree to:
- Operate the moped safely and legally
- Use the moped for personal or agreed business use only
- Not sub-let, resell, or modify the vehicle without consent
- Promptly report any damage or theft
Website Use
You agree not to:
- Misuse the site or attempt to access secured areas without authorisation
- Republish or copy content without written permission
- Use our website for any unlawful or harmful activity
We reserve the right to suspend access or delete user accounts in cases of abuse.
Intellectual Property
All content, branding, and materials on this site are the intellectual property of TRUE Enterprises
Ltd. You may not reproduce, copy, or use any part without written consent.
Limitation of Liability
TRUE is not liable for:
- Indirect or consequential losses
- Delays due to events outside our control
- Personal injury or damage resulting from improper use of a moped
We do not exclude liability where it would be unlawful to do so (e.g., death or injury caused by our
negligence).
Governing Law
These Terms & Conditions are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes shall be
resolved through the UK courts.
Updates to These Terms
We may amend these terms from time to time. The most recent version will always be available on
our website.
